16 - Galactic Explorers He is
showing me his hands now, and he has three large fingers and a thumb. He has
very long nails, a little like claws, but not as pronounced as they would be
on an animal (not hooked, just a little elongated). I am shown that his hands
have great dexterity, and it is natural and easy to manoeuvre things in the
same way that humans do. He is now talking about the kind of craft that they
fly. The ship I am seeing looks fairly standard, (if you can class any spaceship
as being standard!). It is pointed on one end, and the body of the ship is
raised up in a dome or egg shape, like a teardrop on its side. The pointed
end creates a slim fin that goes around the middle of the ship and gets more
slender as it comes to the back. Inside, I
see large monitors like video screens, and I can also see metal spheres. He
tells me that when they place their hands on the metal spheres, they can
control the movement of the ship by thought impulse through the hands. I also
see some very sophisticated control panels, and in the centre of the ship is
a tiered circular hollow that drops down. This is where they sit, in
reclining couches. There are three seats, and those that sit there are the
ones that can see directly up to the monitor in the front. They are
scanning the star fields in front of them, looking for magnetic and
electrical anomalies. As part of their mission, they enjoy studying different
planetary systems. They begin to reveal a scenario to me, as if I were
watching it on a video screen. I can see them approaching the surface of a
planet, and looking closely at it. They even take notes and readings on some
of the nearby asteroids, as an explorer would, for curiosity's sake. They
explain that the three seats are not always fully occupied; but whoever is
there has mental contact with the one who stands controlling the metal
spheres that I saw. When they enter the atmosphere of a planet, the sphere is
for difficult manoeuvres and for helping to locate things on the surface of
the planet at a much slower speed. They use the screen and the spheres to
navigate and guide the ship. When it
comes to long distance travel, i.e. out in space, they tell me that it is a
totally different matter. They have a different kind of drive that's linked
to the star maps. Click
